Hiding From The World During What Should Be The Prime of My Life
Wed Apr 21 2021
I know I'm one of the lucky ones, I get to work from home and my income hasn't been impacted. But living alone during a pandemic has its struggles too. Days without a face-to-face conversation. Eating Christmas dinner alone. It seems trivial but it's getting harder and harder to watch people announce engagements and babies when I can barely see my friends and family, let alone go on a date. Grateful for what I do have but still thinking of all that I'm being held back from and how I'll never get that time back. And already so frustrated with older people who have been vaccinated thinking they can be more relaxed about rules when I have zero protection and a vaccine is likely still months away for me.
